Drill Team Info.
The Eagle Battalion Drill Team is a mentally and physically exhausting team where emphasis is put upon the cadets ability to function as a team and apply their individual drill skills on a inter-team, local, state, brigade, and nation-wide basis. Participating in an average 5-7 meets a year, the cadets are continually challenged, developing their leadership skills, teamwork, and furthermore, their individual drill readiness with each practice.
The Drill Team is always up bright and early at 0600 (6:00 a.m.) for practice, with drill meets requiring a wake up call as early as 0300 (3:00 a.m.), so be prepared to lose some sleep if you're going to join this team!
Practice typically begins with role call, drawing of drill rifles, and heading to the gym to begin the mornings training. A typical schedule will usually look as such:
Monday - Wednesday: IDR Squad (Male, female, Co-ed; LET1, LET2-4), IDR Platoon (Male, Female, Co-ed; LET1, LET2-4)
Thursday, Friday: Color Guard (Male, Female, Co-ed; LET1, LET2-4), Exhibition Squad (Male, Female, Co-ed; LET1, LET2-4), Exhibition Platoon (Male, Female, Co-ed; LET1, LET2-4)

Orienteering Team Info.
The Eagle Battalion Orienteering Team is both technically and physically demanding. The orienteering team compete in various land navigation/orienteering meets throughout regional areas to include the high school championships just south of Louisville. During competitions, every team member demonstrates their ability to read a map, plot a route, and use a compass to locate predetermined navigational points in the most efficient manner possible. Success takes hard work, dedication, physical fitness and the ability to rapidly adapt to a changing enviroment.
The orienteering team is a subordinate team to the Raider Team and the members train after school nearly every afternoon, primarily during the fall semester. The team is comprised of battalion members who are academically eligible, drawn from the various LET levels
